Welcome to my blog

I'm an author of short stories and poetry, working on my debut mystery novel and first nonfiction book. To help myself along my journey, I've tapped into the power of writing groups. Armed with my WIPs, I've joined online circles, library meetups, writers' groups, write-ins, and manuscript exchanges. You get the picture.

While all these opportunities helped me progress in my craft, and I am grateful to all the writers I worked with, I observed something important. Some groups are sources of magic, while others are, well, not so much.
