Ho, Ho, Ho!
'Tis the ideal time of year for ghosts, goblins and all sorts of holiday horror. My favorite way to ramp up for Christmas celebrations is to curl up on the couch, sip tea and nibble scones, while reading spooky tales featuring supernatural hijinks wreathed in tinsel and holly.
So, imagine my delight at sharing with you two new Darker Stories, which I've written for the season:
Merry Murder in Miniature - In this dark and comical modern-day story, a man unveils his holiday model railroad on Christmas Eve and reveals more than he intends. (Subscribers, you received your advance copy last month!)
The Lover's Eye - On New Year's Day, 1823, Marion should be looking forward to a new year full of love and happiness. Instead, she must destroy the enchanted lover's eye pendant that binds her to her dead fiancé's jealous memory. But the dark artist who created the miniature has other plans. (If you like a gothic-y vibe with a dash of romance, this is for you.)
